Cyberpunk 2077 Has Shown Itself, and It’s Everything We Could Want

The Very First Trailer in Five Years Arrives at E3 2018

At lost last,—as I writing this post I struggle to keep my hype levels in check but it’s real, people—it’s here. In a realy “gotcha” moment, CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 was announced on-stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. A new cinematic trailer showcased the world, the combat, and atmospheric mayhem.

Indisputably, the latest footage from CD Projekt RED has a very pronounced “Cyberpunk” feel. There is bullets, neon, shaved heads, and all kinds of freaky prosthetics and grandmothers blowing people’s heads off. Here’s an overview of everything we know—just kidding; here’s the trailer.

Creator Mike Pondsmith said, a while back, that the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 would show “how much death there is.” I think it’s safe to say that the trailer delivered that and more. Unlike the very vague glimpse we received from the reveal five years ago, this new showcase definitely tells us much, much more about the world. And if you pay close attention to all the madness going on in the city, you might distinguish the so-called “classes” that the developer hinted at.

For today, all we have is the cinematic trailer, but you can be sure will bring and details as the story unfolds. Make no mistake, there will be news stemming from this trailer alone, and it may kick off new details from the developer who’s working diligently back in Poland. Bookmark us for the latest info.
