Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee Get Registered Domains

Leaks Point to the Names of New Pokemon RPGs

Yesterday, the internet went ablaze when leaks named the upcoming Pokemon games. The fabled Pokemon RPG will come in the form of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Several sources came out of the woodworks to confirm the games would be a reimagining of Pokemon Yellow. Of course, the leaks stemmed little more than rumors until today.

Evidence has seemingly elevated mounting rumors to the level of reality. According to Whois Domains, new websites “PokemonLetsGoPikachu.com” and “PokemonLetsGoEevee.com” have been registered. Moreover, the websites were registered by a company called CSC Corporate Domains. A survey of Whois Domains reveals that CSC corporate is also the company that manages nintendo.com and nintendoswitch.com. Who is CSC Corporation? Apparently, their company “provides litigation & matter management, compliance & governance services, domains and trademarks, entity management, and trustee services for law firms and companies worldwide.” Hence, the correlation lets us believe that Nintendo has signed off on the domains in question.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee, it seems, are a reality in the making. Now, we have but to wait for official confirmation from Nintendo. Are these the working titles for games coming to the Nintendo Switch? Time will tell, but the mounting leaks have all but confirmed the answer to that question. When the information on the new titles initially leaked, accompanying details suggested that the new Pokemon games would include the original 151 Pokemon. In addition, leakers stated that both versions would somehow be connected to Pokemon GO —hence, the ‘GO’ in the title. Moreover, players would fill the role of rival to trainers Red and Blue. Stay tuned as updates arrive.
