All 11 of the New Overwatch Skins Have Been Leaked
As seems to be the running theme of this event, the skins for the Overwatch Anniversary 2018 event have been leaked, just a week ahead of the launch date being leaked through Twitter.
The leak, according to a post on the Overwatch subreddit, comes from a Taiwanese Overwatch fan, who linked screenshots of the new skins to Facebook. He shows off eleven skins in total, with three being Epic quality, and the other eight being Legendary.
Included in the leaked skins are two skins that Blizzard has revealed on their official Twitter account, which leads people to believe this isn’t a hoax.
Thankfully, a fan on Reddit also roughly translated the skin names into English for us:
For the Epic skins:
- Lightning Tracer
- Venom 76
- Bit-Rate Lucio
For the Legendary Skins:
- Sherlock McCree
- Bio Torb
- Shield Maiden Brigitte
- Magician Symmetra
- Souls of the Forest Orisa
- Suit Doomfist
- Pirate Junkrat
Of course, these skin names are rough translations, so no doubt some of them will have different, but similar names upon release. Blizzard are expected to announce the official names for each skin between now and the Overwatch Anniversary Event launch date of the 22nd.
In addition to the skins, it seems the official design for the Overwatch Anniversary Event loot box was leaked as well. This is on top of the official announcement of a new free-for-all deathmatch map, Petra.
It seems Blizzard is also planning to bring back some old brawl events for Overwatch, as seen in the teaser trailer which was leaked last week, alongside some of the older skins that haven’t been available for some time, with the official banner for the Anniversary event showing Witch Mercy and Graffiti Tracer.
