More Than 4.5 Million PS4 Players Joined the H1Z1 Open Beta

Looks Like PUBG Is Going To Have Some Tough Competition If It Ever Makes It Onto PS4!

H1Z1, a free-to-play multiplayer Battle Royale shooter, was announced last month as an open beta that was coming to PS4. Turns out that the open beta was a huge success since more than 4.5 million PS4 players have joined since its launch, according to the official H1Z1 Twitter account.

As a “thank you” gift to those PS4 players, the game’s developers have added a firearm called the “Blue Barbed Hellfire 4-6” to their inventory.

Also, the game mode “Duos” has also been unlocked for PS4 players with a new update. Duos is a game mode where two players can team up for a match.

The update includes several bug fixes as well such as fixes for the game crashing.

It currently isn’t known when H1Z1 will exit the open beta stage and release as a full game.

So, what do you think of H1Z1 so far? Is it a solid Battle Royale rival to PUBG or do you think there’s still room for improvement? What have been your favorite (and least favorite) in-game moments?
