An Official Battlefield Webpage Teases a Reveal Date
The next Battlefield game, rumored to be a WW2 game titled “Battlefield V”, could be getting revealed on May 23rd, according to this official Battlefield webpage. The webpage’s image can be viewed below!
This upcoming Battlefield has had a lot of leaks ever since it was rumored to be set in World War 2 back in early March. The factions and customization have been allegedly leaked, it’s been rumored that the game will be shown at an official EA event in June and there’s even been a report about Battlefield developers prototyping a Battle Royale mode for the upcoming game.
“With our next Battlefield game, the team at DICE is bringing the intensity of combat to life in new and unexpected ways,” said EA CEO Andrew Wilson during a recent EA earnings call. “Every battle is unique, and every mode brings its own challenges – from the way you interact with the environment around you, to compelling single-player stories, to the next level of large-scale multiplayer that spans across multiple maps and modes.”
“This will be a deep and fully-featured shooter and ongoing service that will evolve with major new experiences for our community, beginning right from launch,” Wilson continued. “This new game will advance the state of the art for the franchise, while still delivering the signature gameplay and Battlefield moments that have captivated and grown our global community.”
Battlefield V has not been officially announced but it’s been rumored to be coming out in 2018 and it’ll presumably be on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
