State of Decay 2 Looks Incredibly Polished in the New PAX Trailer

A Better Look at the World of State of Decay 2

Microsoft may have a gem on their hands if the media is any indication. State of Decay 2 just received a new gameplay trailer showcasing various aspects of the multiplayer co-op title.

It is PAX East time, which is why developer Undead Labs was present to show off the latest build for their highly anticipated experience. If I’m being honest, State of Decay 2 looks incredibly polished. There are several things to note in the new footage. Among them, we get a feel for stealth play when approaching zombie hordes – They’re about as mindless as The Walking Dead. Then we get a glimpse of in-game community management, managing the improvised settlements players will form across the undead wasteland.

In addition, State of Decay 2 seems to have a pretty fun driving option. Vehicles can transport players across the world very quickly, and they serve as very effect zombie-killing weapons. Of course, you can opt for your own crafted weapons. But that’s enough said; you can see it all in the new trailer below.

Stay of Decay 2 arrives for the Xbox One on May 22, 2018, and is listed in the Xbox Game Pass list of games. A $9.99 monthly subscription gets players access to the game and many more. Alternatively, the game is available for pre-order at $29.99 on Amazon. And as we recently learned, there will be no microtransactions. Check back for additional updates leading up to release.

Happy gaming.
