Sam Fisher Teased in New Ghost Recon Wildlands Update

Looks Like a Splinter Cell Collaboration Update

Many fans of Splinter Cell are about to be steamrolled by a hard-hitting truck of nostalgia, thanks to the new teaser released by Ubisoft. Ghost Recon Wildlands will receive a new update that will apparently feature Tom Clancy’s most stealthy bad ass.

Ghost Recon Wildlands recently kicked off its second year, so we can expect additional content in the coming weeks and months. The first operation of year 2 arrives on April 10th. Apparently, however, there will be a briefing just before then. April 9th will deliver details on the new content update regarding Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher. There’s no telling if he will be available solely as a skin or as a character with his own narrative revolving around him. Either way, I think we can all rejoice in the fact that Michael Ironside has returned to voice the iconic operative.

Speculation: Considering the rumors pertaining to a new Splinter Cell in the works, does this Ghost Recon Wildlands update hint at things to come? Is there a chance we’ll see a new installment announced by Ubisoft at E3 2018? Everything we’ve seen thus far may be part of a ploy by the company to get the property in our head. But only time will tell if Sam Fisher is truly making a return to form. Keep it locked for more Ubisoft updates as time goes by.

Happy gaming.
