New Footage Shows Far Cry 5 Enemies, Allies, & Pet Bear ‘Cheeseburger’

Meet the Whole Seed Family, Who You Have to Kill in Far Cry 5

In a few weeks, Ubisoft will release their next open world of mayhem and colorful characters. That means marketing is in full swing, which means new footage. As anyone who’s experienced the franchise will attest, there are plenty of quality villains and allies to witness. It seems they will be extra special in Far Cry 5, so let’s get started.

Today, Ubisoft revealed five new videos highlighting the enemies and allies players will find in Hope County, Montana. These “Vignettes” as they are called, will give us a background a healthy dose of gameplay. Starting with the first video, we’re introduced to the White Tail Militia, a heavily armed group fighting the cultists led by Joseph Seed. You take advantage of their allegiance and their arsenal to send wandering cultists to hell and back to hell. In addition, we’re introduced to a new companion in the form of Jess Black, who wields a compound bow and is your best friend for stealth. But there’s also a freaken bear named Cheeseburger, who will maul enemies on your behalf. Catch the new videos down below.

Finally, we are introduced to the Seed family. Along with cult leader Joseph Seed, aka The Father, Ubisoft has decided to treat (or torture) us with the rest of the family. Meet, Jacob, John, and Faith Seed. Each family member promises his and her own nightmare.

Far Cry 5 arrives on March 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Recently revealed, the Season Pass will be available with a copy of Far Cry 3.  Until release and beyond, expect many more updates from Ubisoft.

Happy gaming.
