One More Shot At Successful Funding
Last Fall Swery took his newest project, The Good Life, to Fig for funding. Things did not go well, with the campaign getting less than half the required funds in order to succeed. Undaunted, he promised all of us that another attempt would be made. And here we are! The Kickstarter campaign is on its way, starting up for another round in less than two months.
The latest announcement came in the form of a Twitter post, detailing the changes made in a short series of images. What changes, you may ask? Well, he’s not asking for quite as much money this time, there will be actual gameplay footage coming with the Kickstarter campaign, and it appears the art style has been redesigned.
Whether or not these changes will result in a successful funding campaign remains to be seen, though the lowered funding goal is an excellent sign. The Kickstarter campaign begins on March 26th, 2018. Here’s hoping we see this game actually get made at some point. It looks so quirky!
