No More Carousels of Psychic Madness!
The last time we got any new information about Past Cure, it wasn’t exactly crystal clear. Between the dream sequences, the psychic powers and the hallucinations, there’s a lot going on in this game. Thankfully, the latest story trailer for Past Cure comes with a slightly more comprehensive explanation regarding just, all of that.
So what’s going on here? You’re playing a man named Ian, a former solider suffering from a terrible case of psychic powers, amnesia, and migraines. This deadly cocktail of brain problems can only be staved off with a mysterious drug. Ian sets out to find the source of the drugs – as well as his horrendous maladies – after a haunting dream one fateful night.
Admittedly this is all still pretty bizarre, even after learning about what’s actually happening, but at least it looks really cool. Curious players will be able to download a demo off the game’s Steam page next week, ahead of the full release on February 23rd. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on the aforementioned trailer! The game looks like a heady blend of action and psychological horror, with just a dash of psychic powers thrown in the mix.
