Kingdom Come: Deliverance Takes the Gold for PS4’s UK Sales

Then There’s FIFA 18 and Bayonetta 2

The latest Chart-Track numbers are in, and the results show that, where individual formats are concerned, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has taken the top spot in UK Sales. Coming in at no.2 on the PS4 is FIFA 18. Then we have the dominator of the Nintendo Switch, which is Bayonetta 2.

Kingdom Come Deliverance

But, if we take all formats into consideration, FIFA 18 sold the most physical units overall. Across PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Kingdom Come came in at 2nd. Meanwhile, Bayonetta 2 succeeded in its re-release as no.5 on the chart. At no.3 and no.4 we have GTA V and Monster Hunter: World, respectively.

Without taking digital sales into account, Bayonetta 2 has actually underperformed against its Wii U version’s first week. With digital sales, we could actually be looking at a very different chart. However, this week’s top 10 reaffirm where the lines are drawn. For starters, the UK really likes their FIFA, which is a surprise (said no one ever). Additionally, the numbers reaffirm that PS4 players enjoy themselves some RPGs. As a matter of fact, if we compare these latest chart numbers to what Media Create is reporting in Japan, then the resounding conclusion is that West loves sports and East loves role-playing. These are the lines that have been drawn through the latest sales reports. Nevertheless, Monster Hunter World is still selling well in the west, an indication of the franchise’s newfound popularity.
