Season 3 of Fortnite Has Begun

When I say improvements are coming to Fortnite, I mean there are tons of improvements. From graphics to cosmetics, to guns, players will witness a flurry of new content and upgrades. For starters, Epic has introduced a hoverboard into the game. A freaken hoverboard! Additionally, there have been overall improvements to building. There’s turbo building, automatic material change, and more. Season 3 of Save the World shall even witness a new score by music composer Marco Beltrami (Logan, The Hurt Locker, etc.). Of course, we cannot neglect to mention the arrival of 60 fps visuals for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X. Every Fortnite Battle Royale match, no matter where you’re playing should look silky smooth. And if you have bad internet, that’s your fault.

“Command the power of the mighty Hand Cannon, and experience Fortnite Battle Royale at 60 FPS on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X. Last but certainly not least, we’ve made hefty improvements to the building blocks of Build Mode.”

Another worthwhile change is that objects can be built through trees, cars, and so on. No more pesky obstructions will stop your ramps and walkways. But like every Fortnite update, the changes are substantial. You can find the entire novel of change notes for Fortnite Version 3.0 at epicgames.com. Changes have been applied to UI, art, audio, social, and performance, some of which has been touched on here. Nevertheless, expect more updates as time goes by.

Happy gaming.
