Fortnite 2.4.0 Update Is Live and Adds Minigun, a Campfire, and Much More.

Fortnite Introduces Some Game Changers in Its Newest Update.

Though the Fortnite update had been delayed slightly due to some technical issues, Epic finally released the new content earlier today for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, which means you can finally tear through enemies with that minigun you’ve been dreaming about.

Fortnite Battle Royale

The destructive powers of the minigun have been unleashed on the Battle Royale side of Fortnite. Said to drops from chest drops and supply drops, the minigun uses light ammo, and fires almost as fast as the SMG.

Alongside the new minigun, Epic have also fixed some well-known issues with its Battle Royale mode, such as client crashes, and  added a controller auto-run option, which is made easily accessible by double clicking the left thumb stick on the controller.

On the other side of the pond, there have also been some changes to the PvE, Save the World side of Fortnite, with two more expedition types for your heroes to set off on. These include People Runs, which enables a small amount of players to be gathered, and Trap Runs, which lets you gather traps from the expeditions.

Another update to the PvE is the new Cozy Campfire, which becomes available to build through a schematic in the Event Store. It allows you to heal yourself and any allies who sit in a 3×3 area surrounding it.

There are still many known issues that Epic have highlighted for fixing, such as some chests in the Battle Royale mode spawning in empty, and some players in Save the World being unable to select a card choice when opening an update lama on to.
