Choose from a Long List of Final Fantasy Characters and Battle
Starting today, for a limited time, prospective players can enter the Final Fantasy multiverse at no expense. Dissidia Final Fantasy has officially entered open beta, and Square Enix is inviting everyone along for the ride.
Dissidia Final Fantasy is the upcoming team-based brawler that lets players summon their favorite Final Fantasy characters. With such a large assortment of heroes and villains from across many titles, the game represents the Final Fantasy Fan’s dream. Expect the full experience to arrive for the PlayStation 4 on January 30th. Before then, anyone can elect to participate in the free Dissidia Final Fantasy beta. Features include the ability to enter online or offline battles; play alone or play with friends, then select and customize your preferred characters. During, there will be multiple “sessions” in which a new selection of characters will be made available for play. This promotes greater variety during a relatively brief period. You can find the schedule of rotations below.

- From Monday, January 15 @ 2:00 PM PST to Thursday, January 18 @ 1:00 PM PST
- From Thursday, January 18 @ 2:00 PM PST to Sunday, January 21 @ 1:00 PM PST
Dissidia Final Fantasy was developed in partnership with Team Ninja from Koei Tecmo Games. Their goal has been to deliver the ultimate fighting experience that balances the various abilities of so many franchise characters. But, you can test the experience yourself.
