Includes a 100-page Explorer’s Guide and Map for Breath of the Wild
Rejoice swag collectors as Nintendo is releasing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorer’s Edition which comes with a physical copy of the game, a 100-page explorer’s guide, and a two-sided map for $59.99 on November 24, Black Friday. You can get a quick glimpse of what’s to come below.
First off, the Explorer’s Map looks alright. It’s a little bland, but it does feel Breath of the Wild-ish in its color tone. As for that Explorer’s Guide, I hope it follows some recent trends in guidebooks that slip in some artwork and developer interviews along with tidbits. It’s a 100-pages, but I wonder how they’ll be able to communicate the 900 Korok seeds with that small page-count. Also, no surprise here, but this new Black Friday package will only be coming to Switch and not the Wii U.
Of course, Breath of the Wild is one of 2017’s biggest games and will likely go down as one of the greatest games in the last few generations as well. Thus, this Black Friday Explorer Edition is another good reason to get the game if you haven’t yet.
