Xbox Boss Hints at New Xbox One X Start-up Screen

Xbox One X Getting a New Boot-Up Sequence?

Earlier this month, we told you that in every Xbox One X unit Microsoft has hidden a tiny easter egg that most people won’t ever get the chance to see. Today, we received some more good news as it looks like the Xbox One X will have a new boot-up screen. At least that is what an Xbox boss suggested may happen.

Xbox owners have likely become accustomed to the start-up screen that’s been used for the Xbox One since it was released. So the timing is perfect for a new sequence when the Xbox One X arrives next month. With the power and quality that it boasts, a new start-up screen for the Xbox One X would be the perfect way to kick off the experience of owning the most powerful console available.

The suggestion that the Xbox One X will likely have a start-up screen unique to the console comes from a reply on Twitter from Microsoft’s Albert Penello.

When asked about the possibility of having a special sequence in the beginning that would emphasize the “X” part of the Xbox One X, Penello’s reply was short, sweet, and definitely promising.

The Xbox One X (previously Project Scorpio) is the next step for the Xbox One, and will be the most powerful gaming console ever created, and also the smallest Xbox every created. It is set to release Nov. 7, 2017 and was first revealed in a black finish.
