Definitive Version of Tiny Troopers Finding a Home on the Nintendo Switch
Tiny Troopers, the action tactics game that pits you against other tiny soldiers and sometimes zombies, is getting a definitive version on the Nintendo Switch. Tiny Troopers Joint Ops XL will be coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console this holiday season.
For those of you unfamiliar with these tiny soldiers and their ways, you command a small squadron of your choosing against a host of different enemies in a variety of combat scenarios. Yes, sometimes there are zombies. This Nintendo Switch release encompasses elements of both Tiny Troopers and Tiny Troopers 2: Spec Ops, adding up to around 60 different missions for you to complete. War may be hell and all, but at least with this release, it will be portable hell. Also will be sort of adorable.
The game will utilize either the traditional controls or the Switch’s touchscreen, giving you some options when it comes to commanding your itty-bitty killing machines. This version of the game also comes with an ‘Ultra-Hardcore’ difficulty setting, which is sort of hard to imagine, given the Tiny Troopers general aesthetic.There is no concrete release date at this time, but Wired Productions is looking to have Joint Ops XL hit the eShop in time for that all-important holiday season.
