Jump Into WWII For Free From Now Until Monday
New World Interactive’s WWII title, Day of Infamy, is right in the middle of a free weekend on Steam! From now until Monday at 10 am, you too can see what the fuss is all about. With around 275,000 players, there is indeed some fuss about this game.
This free weekend also comes with a free update to the game. Newly added features include a tutorial mission and a new mission taking place in the French region of Brittany. This weekend also features double the experience points for all players. This will give new players the opportunity to catch up with one of three armies. Available units are from Britain, France and Germany. You can’t have a good war simulation without the chance to play the villains, after all.
Like all good free weekends, this will be the perfect chance to see whether this one is worth investing in. In Day of Infamy’s case, I’d give it a solid maybe? There are so, so many World War II simulations out there, you’ve got to work pretty hard to stand out from the hordes of D-Days, angry Germans, screaming wounded and useless helmets. Either way, what have you got to lose? Nothing, that’s what!
