Latest PS4 Update is Causing Some Problems
This summer we told you about a PlayStation 4 update that improved the quality of the system performance but users also began reporting an issue where they’d appear offline on the PlayStation Network. Today, we learned PS4 update 5.01 has been released by Sony, which appears to be another stability update.
Just like the most recent PS4 system software update, release notes are very minimal and only mention improved system performance. Whether the firmware update addresses issues that have been reported following the PS4 5.0 update, including the dreaded error code e-801809a8, is unsure at this point.
