New Hellblade Accolades Trailer Highlights Mental Illness

Proceeds from New Purchases Will Support Charity

The skilled developers over at Ninja Theory brought something new to the table with their original IP, Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. The game was designed with mental illness in mind (seriously, no pun intended), therefore sought to reimagine what it must be like. Infuse a bit of mythology and history and you get a very compelling story. Now that many people have had a chance to play the game, a new trailer has arrived dedicated to them.

What we have is the official Hellblade accolades trailer. But, Ninja Theory decided to break from the norm. Instead of previewing review scores, they decided to showcase in-game screenshots taken by fans. On top of that, the trailer is decorated with touching messages from people affected by mental disorders. You can view it all below:

Additionally, Ninja Theory is playing an active role in World Mental Health Day. Tomorrow, October 10th proceeds from all purchases of Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice will go to Rethink Mental Illness, a charity constantly working to help people with mental disorder. “We are delighted to be supporting this important work with this donation, Ninja Theory said, in a press release. The charity works to help millions of people affected by mental illness, so they can definitely make due with some help.

Naturally, if you ever considered purchasing Hellblade, October 10th is as good a time as ever. The game is available for PS4 and PC via Steam, and you’re always invited to COGconnected’s review. Until next time,

Happy gaming.
