Spice Up the Latest Splatfest With These Sweet New Guns
For those of you waist-deep in the joyous paint explosion that is Splatoon 2, good news! Nintendo and the Squid Research Lab have delivered two new guns to the team-based shooter, just in time for use in the latest Splatfest.
Choose your side in the Vampires vs Werewolves debate with either the Custom E-Liter 4K or the Custom E-Liter 4K Scope. Okay, so to the untrained eye, these might seem like two different versions of the same gun. However! The scope version trades the ability to store a charged shot as a squid for some much better range. Do you wanna feel like a badass sniper or multi-talented commando? Can you actually achieve these feelings while blasting paint across a gorgeous, technicolor paradise? Questions for the ages, each one.
Both of these new guns also come with the Squid Beakon and the Bubble Blower. Will these weapons be balanced? Hilariously OP? Hardly worth the effort to use them? Only time will tell. Personally, I’m a constant advocate for any combat strategy that allows long-distance tactical advantages, but others may feel differently. Also, there are no winners in that Vampire/Werewolves debate. They’re both just awful.
