Anthem Beta Is Coming “When the Time Is Right,” Says Game Director

So Long as the Beta Is Fun, Right?

The Folks over at BioWare have been very quiet about Anthem ever since Microsoft E3. Obviously, the game looks intriguing, but players want a hands-on experience themselves. Fortunately, there will be a beta; we simply don’t know when.

Anthem

Anthem game director Jonathan Warner confirmed the beta himself, and he said more details will be shared closer to release. Such were his words on Twitter: “Yeah we’ll have a beta! #PrepareForAdventure.” He then added, “Remember, we are still a distance out. Too soon for details but will provide more when the time is right.”

When the beta does arrive, we don’t know whether it will be open or closed. One thing we do suspect, however, is that Microsoft’s deal with BioWare will lead to first access on Xbox One. There’s no telling just yet.

Anthem is slated to release in the Fall of 2018. Expect much more updates on the road to the release of BioWare’s new IP.
