A Better Look at the Beloved Remake’s PS4 Graphics
And with the Tokyo Game Show comes more news for games that are all the rave in Japan. Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a new trailer showcasing the beauty of the world of Shadow of the Colossus. You can behold the colossi in new, stunning HD.
Shadow of the Colossus has gone through multiple iterations since its debut for the PS2 back in 2005. Originally crafted by Fumito Ueda and Team Ico, the title is now being remade by Bluepoint.
By our understanding, the Shadow of the Colossus remake will carry all the qualities of the original game. There will be a total of sixteen boss battles and no extra content. If there are any changes, Sony hasn’t said anything. That said, Ueda did send Bluepoint a letter listing a number of recommended alterations. He never relayed what those changes were, however.
Shadow of the Colossus, the remake, will be arriving as a PS4 exclusive in 2018. Keep an eye out for more games coming out of the Tokyo Game Show; there’s bound to be some more exciting reveals.
