Behold the Horror of Mordor’s Mystic Tribe
There’s more to see on the path to Mordor, and Warner Bros is releasing all of it. A new trailer for Middle-Earth Shadow of War delivers us to the realm of the Mystic Tribe. This latest batch of orcs appears to deal with dark magic that makes them a cut above the other hordes. See it in the new gameplay footage below.
So far, this seems to be the only orc tribe that deals with magic. Not to say you won’t run into other Nemeses who do. But it leads to our speculation about the role of magic in the game. Will Talion be able to wield any of the magic we see or is he limited to his wraith abilities? Either way, the ability to control orcs who can do magic seems like a worthwhile asset to gain.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War arrives for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 10th. Come November, anyone who purchases an Xbox One X will be able to experience the game in 4K, and they will be able to do so with the same Xbox One copy of the disc. The game has plenty to offer in terms of open-world exploration, enemies, and combat. And speaking of enemies, Mordor is filled to the brim with rival tribes.
Before today, Monolith Studios revealed additional nemesis tribes in the form of the Terror Tribe, Marauder Tribe, Dark Tribe, and Feral Tribe.We suspect there will be a lot more to see come release. Until then, stay tuned for more reveals.
