SEGA Brings Back Vanquish for the PC – Now Faster and Better Looking

Platinum Games’ Epic Sci-Fi Shooter Makes a Return

One look at Vanquish and you might find it hard to believe this game came out during the last generation. But, that’s Platinum Games for you. From the developer of NieR: Automata and Bayonetta, experience the re-release of Vanquish for the PC. Now faster and with unshackled visuals, find it on May 25th. Watch the trailer down below and be sure to catch a deep breath afterward:

From the same mind that brought us Resident Evil, Vanquish is a sci-fi shooter on a completely different scale than its peers. Battle a host of enemies with advanced weaponry. Epic boss battles, fast-paced combat, and a campaign of endless firepower means there’s never a dull moment.

Vanquish offers a great mix of melee and ranged combat, as is a specialty of Platinum Games. On top of that, PC players get to take part in the gripping story. What makes this release a step above the first is its extensive graphics options, including 4K resolution support. Clearly, the successful release of Bayonetta on PC gave SEGA the motivation to do the same for Vanquish.

“It was great to see the positive response from our community to the Bayonetta PC launch last month, and we are pleased that we are in a position to be able to announce Vanquish, another of our highly requested back catalogue titles,” said John Clark, Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe. “There’s more to come from SEGA in this space, so stay tuned for further announcements.”
