Outlast 2 Update Fixes a Fair Share of Difficulties, Pun Intended

Outlast 2 Update Fixes Game Balance When Playing on Normal Difficulty

Outlast 2 came out at the end of last month and some players have complained about the balance regarding the game’s difficulty levels. Earlier today Red Barrels released a patch on the PC today to fix this problem, along with a few others!

Outlast 2 developer Red Barrels has released a patch for the PC today, and among the changes is a “global rebalancing of the game difficulty.” While there were no specifics given about what exactly was changed, they stated, “Today’s patch introduces some minor adjustments to the game’s difficulty in key areas and moments. On Normal difficulty this will offer players a more appropriately balanced experience while still maintaining higher levels of challenge on Hard and Nightmare difficulties.”

Besides these changes and rebalanced to the difficulties, the new update focuses on resolving other small issues and bugs within the game. Although this patch is for PC players only, the update will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One “soon”. Check out the full list of patch notes below.
