That’s Right, You Can Now Listen to Zelda in Your Preferred Language
Many fans will agree, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in many ways a perfect game. That’s why we gave it a 100 out of 100, because we agree, too. At the same time, however, many players are more than willing to criticize the game’s English voiceovers. That’s probably why Nintendo just implemented a patch to let us hear characters in different languages.
The English dubbing of Zelda and Mipha, in particular, has borne the brunt of the criticism. Mipha is a member of the Zora and plays a crucial role in Link’s quest. And Zelda, well, hopefully, you understand why she’s important. So, seeing them speak awkwardly would, understandably, bother some fans.
Zelda BoTW is probably game with the single worst English voice acting I probably played period. I never knew you can do it this badly.

Ultimately I agree the script/voice acting in Zelda is often meh, but luckily it doesn’t affect how epic the game is, at least for me

Not anymore. Anyone tired of the English dub can now switch. A new feature for Nintendo Switch and Wii U has expanded the voiceover and subtitles in Breath of the Wild.Â
There’s the original Japanese, Russian, and Romantic languages available. Nine different languages in all. Your choice may simply depend on which Zelda cry you prefer.

Usually, the princess is limited to short breaths and grumbles. Meanwhile, Link is a man of few words. But, let us know your own thoughts on the matter.
