Deck13 Talks the Surge Support for Different Platforms

Recently we told you that some new story details for The Surge had been released and now, Deck13 Interactive has addressed whether or not there will be support for the PlayStation 4 Pro, Project Scorpio and the Nintendo Switch. We already know The Surge will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it is released on May 16th, so what about these latest and greatest systems?

The Managing Director for Deck13, Jan Klose, recently had a chat with Dualshockers where they asked if there will be support for the PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio. He confirmed that the support for both platforms is in the works. He stated: “There will definitely be special support, but I can’t go into too much detail here. But we’re working on features for these consoles.”

Now for those of you who have been hoping that The Surge would be available for the Switch, both at home and on the go, unfortunately there is currently nothing in the works for a Nintendo Switch edition. Of course based on Jan Klose’s comments, it could happen sometime in the future, “We love the Switch but right now our focus is on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. This might change in the future, but there’s nothing on the horizon as of yet.”
