Newly Announced STRAFE Collector’s Editions Include Soundtrack on Cassette or Vinyl
STRAFE is almost here! After a bit of delay, the bloody retro murderfest is almost upon us. Fans looking for more than just a digital purchase will be happy to know that Devolver Digital is releasing three different STRAFE Collector’s Editions. Check out the Throwback Edition below:
See the discs scattered in front? Pogs! Every item is dripping with 90’s nostalgia. Note the listing for “indoor sunglasses.” Do they still work outside? Are they specifically to prevent STRAFE’s killer graphics from giving you permanent eye damage? The mind boggles at the limitless possibilities. Although for real authenticity, this edition would need a whole stack of those floppy disks, each one containing a tenth of the install file.
Also being released is the Vinyl edition and the PS4 Collector’s Box. The Throwback edition comes with a download code for the digital version of the game, while the Vinyl soundtracks can be bundled with the code. STRAFE is coming to PC and PS4 on May 9th, 2017.
