Scorpio Officially Confirmed for a Hype-filled Reveal at E3 2017

E3 2017 Shall Provide Gamers with Answers about the next Great Console

Today, Xbox Wire brought us a bit of news from Xbox head Phil Spencer. As was suspected and rumored–granted, rumors also suggested it would happen beforehand–the Xbox Scorpio will officially be unveiled at E3 2017. As a result, we’re in for a presentation so major it will be bigger than Major Nelson.

Here’s what Spencer had to say in his post:

“I’m proud of the progress made with Project Scorpio and what it will mean for the creators who fuel the passion of gamers around the world. On behalf of everyone at Team Xbox, thank you for your continued passion and support. We’re excited to unveil Project Scorpio and the amazing game experiences it powers at E3 this June.”

So, we might not know the name of the new console until then. But here’s what’s gonna happen. Microsoft is going to showcase the console then gameplay, or vice-versa, then the lights will go dark and a number will pop-up on the big screen. That number will be the price point. Microsoft

Thus far, the  Scorpio has been impressing the heck out of developers and even Spencer himself. With its rumored ability to operate on par with PCs, this could be a game changer for Microsoft.
