Totally Fresh New Splatoon 2 Stage Revealed by Nintendo

Nintendo Reveals a Fresh New Splatoon 2 Stage That Takes Place at a Rock n’ Roll Music Festival

The Squid Research Lab over at Nintendo HQ has unsheathed some new content from the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive title, Splatoon 2, and what they’ve discovered is truly stylish. A fresh new Splatoon 2 stage has been uncovered and the rockin’ new map is a legendary edition to the colorful, ink-filled world.

The new stage map, titled “Starfish Mainstage” is an awesome outdoor venue which resembles a super fun rock n’ roll music festival. Word on the street is that a legendary group by the name of “Squid Squad” even played here once. Who exactly Squid Squad is, we’re not sure. Their album wasn’t available for purchase on the Nintendo site, so we haven’t had the opportunity to listen to them ourselves, but if Nintendo says they’re legendary, they must be. Whether or not they’ll be playing a bigger role in the series, we’re not sure either.

If you’re not totally sold on the absolute authenticity of the newly discovered venue’s street cred, you can check it out for yourself in the pictures below!:
