Latest Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Update Fixes Huge Multiplayer Issues

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Latest Patch Has Arrived

Naughty Dog has announced the release of the latest update, 1.23.070 for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which includes some big fixes to a major problem in the Ranked multiplayer mode. This new patch is available now on the PlayStation 4.

The patch notes details the fixes to the multiplayer mode, which mainly targets issues with Ranked play. At the beginning of each Ranked season, player progress is supposed to reset, offering a fresh slate for the incoming season, however there was a bug that was preventing some people from this reset at the beginning of Season 5. As a result, Naughty Dog has ended the season, and started Season 6 with everyone’s progress refreshed. They have stated that any rewards earned in Season 5 will be kept. In addition to this, in order to make things fair for everyone, players who wish to earn the cowboy hats that were exclusive to Season 5 will be able to earn them in addition to the Season 6 exclusive sniper masks.

There are also two other improvements available in this latest patch, which are:

  • Added death region to Village to prevent exploit
  • Increase LP cost of Drake’s Aegis to 3 LP

The newest patch is available to download now. This patch really goes to show that Naughty Dog cares about ensuring their game remains just as enjoyable, to new and old players alike. This is not surprising, as they have released regular updates throughout the year with new maps, game modes and skins.

In other Uncharted news, The Lost Legacy is the next game in the highly successful series, and as we told you last week, it will be released on August 22nd, 2017!

Keep it locked for updates as they become available for both Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
