Dragon Quest Heroes II Has Arrived – Prepare for Monster Mayhem

Characters New and Old Combine for an All-new Adventure in Dragon Quest Heroes II

We’ve been talking about it for awhile, and it’s finally here. Today, Dragon Quest Heroes II officially hits PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Derived from the legendary Dragon Quest franchise, and sequel to the first Dragon Quest Heroes, Koei Tecmo’s new installment delivers an expanded character roster and a slew of new features.

Out of the story’s fifteen heroes, all of them are playable. The roster includes characters new and old, but with more action. Bearing a diverse weapons arsenal, players can slay monsters like never before. As you explore a massive, interconnected world, many obstacles and creatures lie in wait. But you don’t have to go it alone.

For the first time, multiplayer reaches Dragon Quest and expands the roster by eight characters. Play with up to four friends in Dimensional Dungeons. Furthermore, your buddies can accompany you to the story-driven battles called War Zones. From there, you can expect non-stop melee where you bask in the dynamic weapons and abilities.

And weapons represent just one aspect of customization for Dragon Quest Heroes II. Skills and accessories facilitate the personalization of characters. Then, after checking your gear, you can bask in the new “Monster Medal” system that allows your transforming into the title’s iconic monsters. With so many features, there’s plenty of incentive to dive into this new story:

After a thousand years of peace, the Seven Realms suddenly collapse into conflict as if guided by a mysterious and malicious force. Now, players must lead a band of powerful heroes in a quest to defeat evil and save the war-torn world.

Dragon Quest Heroes II is available now across all retailers. Whether you pick up standard or Explorer’s Edition, it’s the same price. Let us know your excitement levels by commenting down below. And remember to check back with COGconnected for more news and release updates. Happy gaming.
