The New Lion King And Frozen 2 Also Get Dates!
Disney is really churning out the release date information today. It started off with just the information on Star Wars: Episode IX, which will be coming out on May 24th, 2019. Then there was information released for the new Indian Jones 5 movie, which will be out on July 10th, 2020. Which will see the return of both Harrison Ford and Steven Spielsberg. Then the animated news came rolling out.
The studio announced an updated release date for the upcoming sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. It was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, that the film will be coming out November 21st, 2018. This is way earlier then the previous date of March 9th, 2018 that was originally announced. Wreck-It Ralph 2, actually took the release date that was previously set for upcoming new film Gigantic.
Frozen 2 also received an update. The release date was officially set for November 27, 2019, which is the Thanksgiving weekend for some of us. The new Lion King will be coming out on July 19, 2019. Also the film will be being directed by the previous Iron Man director, Jon Favreau.
Disney will also be having some of its new original films coming out as well. We will be getting Gigantic, the Disney take on the Jack and The Beanstalk film, on November 5, 2020. Also A Wrinkle in Time is moving up to March 9, 2018. Whew, but that is all we have for now. So what are your thoughts? Are guys down for some more Disney films?
