Three Awesome Titles Added to Backwards Compatibility Today

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Gets Three More Titles

Today it was announced that three more titles are available for the Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility! Larry Hyrb from Xbox, revealed the news on Twitter, citing some pretty big games. As the list of backwards compatible games continues to grow, with over 100 titles, they just keep getting better each time!

Since the release of Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, it has been one of the most popular features to hit the Xbox One platform! This isn’t surprising though, as it allows Xbox gamers the opportunity to play some of their favourite Xbox 360 games on the newest console. Xbox adds to the list of backwards compatible games quite regularly, and as such they have released three more today. Check out the three titles that are now available on the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility below.

  • Darksiders
  • Darksiders II
  • Assassin’s Creed Revelations

In other Backwards Compatibility news, last week we told you about the steady outcry from Black Ops 2 fans, demanding the game to become a part of this hugely popular Backwards Compatibility program. While addressing these demands, Bill Stillwell from the Xbox platform team, stated that, “It is important to remember that BC releases have always ebbed and flowed. Just like the industry, some months are loaded, and others are pretty light. We are still 100% committed to the program. I expect big releases in the near future. But unlike the holiday season, big bi-weekly releases of titles are unlikely to happen each and every month.” This is good to keep in mind, especially considering that not all platforms have a program even remotely similar to this! A full list of games available via Backward Compatibility can be found here.
