Tomorrow entails another special day, for it is Tuesday. Aside from the release of PS4’s special exclusive, NieR Automata, the console is also getting its special update, allegedly. According to a rumor that began in the special realm of Reddit, PSVR is getting its own update. After user ‘Finch-Tech’ emailed PlayStation about PSVR image drift problems, apparently, he got an email back and it read that there will be a patch for PSVR version 2.40. Albeit, the email also said, “ I do not have specifics on what the patch contains, outside of support for 3D Blu-Rays.”

Anyone can read up more about the upcoming system update for PS4 here. Codenamed Sasuke, it was revealed earlier last month and allowed many console owners to breathe easier knowing they were finally getting external HDD support, which includes plugging your memory into other PS4s; on top of that, custom wallpapers, quick menu refresh, simplified notification list, and 3D Blue-Rays on PSVR.

At the same time, PS4 Pro owners can expect a hefty performance improvement for their games. Any titles not optimized for PS4 Pro shall be optimized through the console itself. Gain a better experience with games like Battlefield 4, Project Cars, and more.
