Here’s a Deal to Accompany Your Delving into Insanity
Anyone looking to scare themselves three times over, it’s your lucky day. Warner Bros. and developer Red Barrels are happy to announce the worldwide distribution of Outlast Trinity. This special bundle includes the original Outlast and its anticipated sequel, Outlast 2. Acclaimed horror reaches players back to back and again through both games and the expository DLC.
“Red Barrels has made a name for itself in the survival horror genre with the original Outlast game,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. “We look forward to working closely with this great group of developers to bring Outlast Trinity to gamers around the world.”
Many players will remember the first struggle of Outlast, a game that took place in a Colorado Insane Asylum. Like before, in Outlast 2, players will work their way to another heart of darkness. Investigating an uncanny murder in Arizona, you take on the role of cameraman Blake Langermann whose journey will lead him into the dark areas of country and mind. Accompanied by wife Lynn, only a bold investigation leads to the truth; sanity, however, is another question.
Additionally, Outlast Trinity comes with the conclusive DLC, Outlast Whistleblower, which essentially tells the prolog and epilog of Mount Massive Asylum visited in Outlast. A third character arrives for this story: Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract in Mount Massive. After witnessing the status of patients within the corrupted domicile, he begins unraveling the whole operation. Thus, players shall witness the final chapter of that particular location.
Outlast Trinity will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 25. Since the original game was highly requested in a physical form, Red Barrels has worked hard to deliver this deal. Now everyone will soon take part in the exploration that made 2013 horrifying.
