Modern Warfare Remastered gets First DLC Map Pack for PS4

Old Settings and Improved Experiences in Modern Warfare Remastered

Despite the outrage against Activision’s pricing, the company has followed through and released their first DLC Pack for Modern Warfare Remastered. Veterans will certainly remember the pack and the maps: Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse, now remastered for this generation. And with the arrival of this new DLC comes a new trailer to showcase all the old combat in the enhanced settings. Watch it down below:

Furthermore, Activision has chosen to reward loyal fans with a this generation’s special supply drops. This Variety Map Pack gets 10 “Rare” supply drops in all, purely cosmetic items that are normally purchased in-game through base currency or real money.

2016 Game Revenue Modern Warfare

The Variety Map Pack comes first to PlayStation 4 due to the timed-exclusivity deal with Sony. This marks an inverse trend since the original game’s release on Xbox 360 in 2008. We expect consistency with future DLC, and hopefully with consistent improvement.

PC and Xbox One players have to wait a little longer, but the pricing remains at $15 for anyone looking to download. And, of course, the DLC hits Modern Warfare Remastered, which is only available through Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition. Originally priced at $80, the bundle has since seen a steep price drop. Hence, timing is ripe for anyone who wants to get back into Infinity Ward’s legendary FPS.

Plus, if you haven’t already, take advantage of freebies currently given in Modern Warfare’s herein-game even: Shamrock and Awe. Learn more by clicking.
