According to company information that Reddit user beyond_the_willow shared, GameStop will begin their in-store Nintendo Switch pre-order sale on January 13. Each store will also be given a certain number of units that will be available so, if these rumors are true, be sure to place your reservations for the long-awaited and much-hyped console quickly. The information comes from a GSO letter, which is basically just a company-side e-mail saying what will be new in the store, etc.
Although still just a rumor, this information is coming from a pretty solid source, as they’ve also been known to give accurate pre-order information about Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL and the Animal Crossing New 3DS back in 2015. The upcoming Nintendo Switch presentation will be kicking off on the 12, so we might be hearing some official news then!
