Epic Gun Game and Double XP Now Live
Have you ever played Call of Duty’s Gun Game? If you haven’t, you are missing out because it’s fantastic. For fans of the mode or those who have never given it a go, this weekend is the perfect time to jump in. Infinity Ward tweeted moments ago that the debut of Epic Gun Game is live now on PS4 and Xbox One for a full week. This mode is available for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and it ends Friday, Jan. 20 at 10am PST. Also, Double XP is going on right now too.

How does gun game work? Each player starts with the same basic pistol. Every time you kill an enemy with your gun, you’re upgraded to the next weapon. Anyone killed with a melee attack is demoted to the previous weapon, so watch your flank. Suicides also set you back to the previous tier, most often occurring when using explosive weapons. The match ends when someone cycles through all twenty weapons. Success in Gun Game requires aggressive tactics and familiarity with each weapon in the rotation. Don’t worry about dying – just go for a lot of successive kills.
