Better to Think Again, PC and Nintendo Switch Users

Many console exclusives are slated for 2017, and many great games overall. Among them are Atlus’s known names, Yakuza 0 and Persona 5. Both are hitting the PlayStation 4. But every now and again, Japanese developers see value in porting to PC and what not. Therefore, a Nintendo Switch port is possible. Well, Atlus’s PR manager charged himself with clarifying the matter.

So there you have it. Naturally, many Nintendo fans are probably asking why. Why won’t Atlus be the cool dev in this case? However you look at it, this simply means they have no plans. Could there be ports eventually? Of course there could be ports eventually. But according to many major developers, whether its BioWare, Rockstar, or Atlus, Nintendo Switch needs to prove worthwhile.

And despite the success that has come with ports to Steam, Atlus won’t commit to a PC release. Fortunately, its not all bad news. Rumor has it Ubisoft will be releasing console exclusives for the Switch, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is liable to hit shelves at release.
