Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Trailer Shows All New Content and Remastered Releases
A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue launches to bring the Kingdom Hearts series one step closer to the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3. When will Kingdom Hearts 3Â launch? Hopefully one day. But don’t worry, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is here to fill in those gaps (and the hole in your heart) with extra story content until that day.
The beloved Final Fantasy/Disney fusion franchise from Square Enix includes an array of console, handheld, mobile games, and more, all with unique content to stitch together the storyline of Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is a high definition, remastered collection of three games in the series that did not launch on console, including the Nintendo 3DS game Dream Drop Distance, the PSP game Birth By Sleep with a new playable episode, and Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and will launch on January 12 in Japan, and January 24 in North America and Europe.

In the trailer, not only can you see Aqua battling various bosses and hanging out with the usual cast of Kingdom Hearts characters, but you also get a glimpse of her dressing up in a collection of cute clothing items like Minnie Mouse’s polka dot bow, wings, and cat ears, and even changing the colors of her clothing. With all sorts of character customization options like “head”, “arms”, “back”, “pattern”, and “color” listed in the menu, we see that in Kingdom Hearts 2.8 we get to fully customize Aqua’s appearance with not only gear, but with collectible clothing items, accessories, patterns, and colors!
