Epic Holiday Plans for Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered Revealed
Activision has announced that they have some huge holiday plans for both Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered this Christmas season! From a holiday DLC to a “12 Days of Winter” special, there are a bunch of gifts available to all Call of Duty players, and even more to loyal fans of the franchise. Some of these Christmas goodies are available now, and others will arrive later in the month!
Epic Prototype Hailstorm – Thunder PistolÂ
Great news for the Call of Duty fans who have never faltered in their loyalty to the franchise, as players who have played both Call of Duty: Black Ops III, as well as Infinite Warfare will receive the Hailstorm Thunder pistol. This particular weapon has a three-round burst with two perks, Whirlwind and Focus. The first gives the gun more recoil, but allow faster gun fire, and the second reduces the “idle sway” when aiming down sights. You don’t have to wait to get this, as it is available today! 12 Days of Winter Promotion and Holiday Map
This 12 Days of Winter promotion is for Infinite Warfare and will offer winter-themed items, as well as gun prototypes, salvage and key bonuses just for logging in! It starts on December 21st and will continue until January 1st. The Infinite Warfare map Genesis is getting a holiday makeover too, and will have its own 24/7 playlist. The map is going to be called Genesis Holiday.
Modern Warfare Remastered Maps
Of course Infinite Warfare can’t have all of the holiday fun, therefore Activision is releasing a DLC with 6 maps from the original game just in time for the holidays! These maps arrive this Tuesday, December 13th, bringing the total number of maps available to 16. The Winter Crash map is coming to Modern Warfare Remastered as well, and a 24/7 playlist for it will begin on December 20 and run through the holidays.
