Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered only launched with 10 maps, therefore the six maps will complete the full set of maps from the original game. Bloc, Pipeline, Countdown, Strike, Showdown, and Wet Works are the six ‘new’ maps that will be arriving with the December update.

This December update also includes two more game modes: Gun Game and Hardpoint, as well as a holiday-themed ‘Winter Crash’ map. A new trailer outlined the new announcement and took players down memory lane with nostalgic scenes from the original Call of Duty 4 game. This DLC comes as promised by Activision earlier this year at the Call of Duty XP opening keynote.

Modern Warfare Remastered players will also get a Christmas-themed map “Winter Crash” as part of the free content release. Beginning on December 20th, players will get access to a 24/7 Winter Crash playlist. Hopefully this means that the PlayStation 4 Pro support that was confirmed a few months ago is also on its way. The PS4 Pro support is set to have richer textures and dynamic 4K graphics.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available as part of the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Currently, the Call of Duty 4 remaster is not available separately.
