Activision’s Call of Duty Franchise Is the #1 Grossing Console Video Game
Activision is super proud to announce that, based on year-to-date revenues from physical sales, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the #1 grossing console video game in America. The latest title in the franchise, Infinite Warfare, launched on November 4th and also made its way to the #1 spot as the highest selling console game for the month of November. This will be the 8th year in a row that Activision’s beloved first-person shooter franchise took the prize for #1 grossing console video game at retail in North America.
This year, Call of Duty fans got to see two awesome games from Activision, both the new Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, the HD version of one most iconic games in the series. They don’t plan on slowing down either. Infinite Warfare DLC Map Packs will be rolling out during 2017, which are available at a discounted price for Season Pass owners. The Season Pass also includes four new zombie adventures with quirky and terrifying environments and enemies, 10 Rare Supply Drops, and 1,000 bonus Salvage for crafting new weapons.
