Major Nelson Apologizes for Xbox Email
A couple of months ago, we reviewed the Dead Rising Triple Pack calling it a collection that should make any horror fan happy. Last month, Microsoft and Capcom Vancouver announced a Season Pass and a digital-only Deluxe Edition for Dead Rising 4. In keeping up with their recent trend of promoting the game, Microsoft and Capcom were back at it again today, except this promo didn’t quite go as planned.
A Dead Rising 4 promotional email was sent out to email subscribers today, but the email spelling came across as sounding like a racial slur rather than the zombies sound they were going for.

Larry Hryb has now apologized to anyone who was offended by the email. He tweeted out the following today:
Today we sent a DR4 email where a zombie roar was interpreted by many as a racial slur. We apologize and promise to do better next time.

You have to feel sorry for Xbox here. My goodness, someone didn’t think that one through. Whoops!
