Toys “R” Us Canada May Have Just Inadvertently Leaked the Nintendo Switch Price

Switch Price Revealed?

The Nintendo Switch has generated a ton of positive reactions from across the internet and at this point it appears Nintendo has a hit on their hands. Last week, we told you about ten games we would love to see on the Nintendo Switch. Today, we learned that the price of the Nintendo Switch might have been leaked way ahead of time by the Canadian website of Toys “R” Us.

The listing is for $329.99 Canadian dollars. That is around $249 USD. Granted, the price could merely be a placeholder but that would seem odd and that price point appears to be in line with other rumors that have surfaced. Check out a screen grab of the ad below.

This Nintendo Switch price, if true, would certainly please a lot of fans. And would make the console accessible for many. All of this needs to be taken with a grain of salt as Nintendo has yet to announce any specific price point yet. Right now, all we have is rumors and speculation.

Another such rumor surfaced earlier this month as details regarding its specs from a known industry insider appeared on Twitter. Emily Rogers has been very accurate in past predictions for the Nintendo NX, now dubbed the Switch. She was the first to reveal that it would sport a 6.2” 720p multi-touch display which turned out to be right. Previously it was thought that the retail version of the Nintendo Switch would sport a mere 2GB of RAM, half of what’s available in the dev units. Turns out that 4GB RAM will stick around.
