Kojima Heading to PSX

Sony’s PlayStation Experience 2016 is just around the corner and fans are eagerly anticipating some big surprises from Sony. With some huge titles such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, and Days Gone coming to the PS4, we expect some big reveals and new gameplay footage at PSX16. One juicy little nugget we learned today is that legendary Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima will be present at PlayStation Experience.

Kojima will apparently speak at a newly revealed panel on his new game Death Stranding, that will happen on Saturday, at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. According to the brief description, “special guests” will also be in attendance. Kojima tweeted this out:

While no further details have been shared, we should finally get to hear some new details about Kojima’s upcoming PS4 game.

Death Stranding was announced with a bang at E3 this year and since the teaser trailer we haven’t heard much. A few days ago we reported that the exclusivity of Death Stranding to the PS4 could only be 18 months long. This would mean that after that 18th month, Kojima would be free to move that game to other platforms such as the Xbox One, PC or even the Nintendo Switch. This is strictly a rumor at this point but an interesting one nonethelss.

PlayStation Experience will open its gates on Saturday, December 3rd in Anaheim, California.
