Huge Event On Pokémon Go Starts Tomorrow!

Third Pokémon Go Event To Show Appreciation To Trainers

As a special thanks to players around the world, Pokémon Go will kick off their third game event tomorrow. Since its release in July, Pokémon Go has become the most popular mobile game of the year! No surprise there as Pokémon Go has been downloaded more than 20 million times and is played in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. After billions of people got involved with the Pokémon Go Halloween Event last month it only seemed fitting that Niantic Inc. and The Pokémon Company International decided to reward trainers with another event.

Niantic had this to say about the event, “We are passionate about creating experiences that encourage exploration and promote exercise. We are humbled that hundreds of millions of you around the world have joined us on this journey. So we would like to say thank you – and what better way to say thank you than to celebrate our community.”

Giving a special thanks to the  Pokémon GO community, the third event will drop tomorrow at 4pm PST/ 7pm EST. The event will allow trainers to earn double the amount of XP and stardust when completing in-game actions. For anyone trying to find a way to make their level grinding just a bit easier, this is definitely an event for you! This double XP, double stardust event won’t last long though, as it ends on November 29th at 4pm PST/ 7pm EST.

We have to wonder if this event is also a means to subtly promote the launch of the newest games in the Pokémon franchise: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon for the 3DS, however regardless of any underlying reasons, the double XP, double stardust event is exciting nonetheless!
