Latest Last Guardian Demo Delivers
Last week, when the Gamestop Expo was underway, a brand new trailer was released for the highly anticipated yet perpetually delayed PS4 title The Last Guardian. In that trailer we got to see more interactions between the main character, and The Last Guardian’s unique supporting character/beast, known as Trico, a baby Gryphon. Today, a new gameplay demo has been uploaded on YouTube and needless to say it looks amazing.
This morning the good folks over at PlayStation Access livestreamed the whole demo from EGX in Birmingham, allowing you see an entire gameplay demo in all of its majestic glory. If you want to check out a full run of the demo from start to finish, without annoying interruptions and cuts, check it out below.
The Last Guardian, the third title in a trilogy that began with Ico and continued with Shadow of the Collosus, has been one of the most eagerly-awaited titles in gaming history. Its plot involves a boy who has been kidnapped and befriends Trico. The two need to escape the ruins by exploring and solving puzzles.
The game wowed fans with its sublime visuals, but then was delayed so much that it seemed to slip into the nether-world of oblivion for a while, with many giving up hope of it ever releasing at all. Now, it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel.
